It contains the following data: Connectivity Area of the RECONECTA RMC Program, based on the Term of Technical Cooperation No. 09/2017 between the twenty municipalities of the Metropolitan Region of Campinas in the RMC Development Council and the Metropolitan Agency of Campinas - Agemcamp. The Connectivity Area adopts multidimensional perspectives and fosters a more sustainable use and occupation of the territory through nature-based solutions. It foresees the connection between Conservation Units and other Protected Areas; the conservation of priority areas for water supply; the conservation and recovery of relevant forest fragments, also considering the interference of the highways that cut through the MRC; the implementation of green areas with a social function, such as parks and squares; the promotion of agricultural practices with low environmental impact; the use of green infrastructure to deal with climate events (heavy rains, drought, landslides, heat waves, fires, etc.)..
