This study utilized anonymized GPS data to analyze travel patterns across different areas in Mexico City, focusing on six suburban areas and a central area. It examined trip distances, distribution within each zone, prevalence of local trips, walkability, and access to entertainment areas within 15-minute travel zones by foot, bike, transit, and private vehicle. The study suggested potential for government intervention to improve transportation and pedestrian infrastructure in some suburban zones.
